Hi everyone,

I have had a tremor for a while now in my right hand. However, the last month since starting tini, it has been pretty bad in both hands/arms off and on.

Any suggestions? or will it just get better with treatment?

Whenever I'm treating the neuro stuff goes nuts.

I'm still really sick with other symptoms but after about 6 months of treatment it all calmed down a little. Still there, fading slowly.

Tinidazole can cause permanent nerve damage. I would be very careful.

You can't know, so what you have to do is report it to your lyme doc ASAP and bring up this concern.

The doc will advise you. Perhaps he will advise you to stop it and see what happens.

Then, after so long, if the side effect goes away, start it again.

So, talk to your doc who should have experience with this and some wisdom to share with you.

There is always some gamble with the cyst busting drugs (flagyl and tini). Tini seems to have less risk than flagyl.

The doc may consider letting you take it 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off if that keeps the tremor away. I understand from Burrascano that you have to take a cyst buster for at least 14 days in a row for it to be effective.

Ditto to what Lymetoo said. As soon as our son started getting neuropathy on tini we stopped it immediately.

Thanks everyone. I think I may have figured a little out. I recently rented a cello to try something new and add a positive dimension to my life.

I've noticed that my tremor is 'normal' until I play the cello. After I use those forearm muscles my tremor goes crazy for about 3 hrs and then calms down.

Same thing when I go to the gym and use forearms at all.

Soo, I'm thinking it is more muscle use that hasn't been used in a long time making my tremor flare and not so much the medicine.

I'm going to watch it though and if it gets worse, I'll call my Dr.

Thanks for all the thoughts. . . . so so much!
