Now what pathogen is the Lone Star ticks now carrying that are causing these allergic reactions?
I'm not seeing it identified. I was bitten by 2 Lone Star ticks in '05. Suddenly afterwards I noted if I ate steak, my body couldn't process it. It would feel like it sat in my gut for days.
I didn't put steak in my mouth for at least 10 years. Now I'm able to eat small amounts and I seem to digest it fine. I will say that those Lone Star ticks gave me a high dose of bartonella.

How interesting. I feel I was bitten by a lonestar tick too. And, I have trouble digesting some meat, that is for sure. I have to take enzymes.
I had a dairy allergy since I was born but know that the gluten allergy was post lyme.
Dan, you will solve this too. Keep us posted and I am so sorry your wife is going through this. Is it all meat?

Thanks for this Map1131, now I know why the tick was clear that bit me. It was a larvae of a lone star tick and according to this article very aggressive. Indeed! Thanks for the great info! I KNOW I was bitten by the Lone Star tick .. tons of them.
A friend of mine has the alpha gal allergy and she recently posted that even some candies contain mammal (as she refers to it) .. For example, M&M's contain gelatin .. which is from beef or pork.
From the article:
"In severe cases, it can also cause an allergy to gelatin."

Thanks for the info.
My wife can eat meat so I am not sure it is related but it was real sudden. Some people just can't tolerate dairybso it could be unrelated also.
The reason I suspect it at all is I am pretty sure she does not have Bb but a different strain. They have found people in Minnesota that have the meat allergy but were infected by different ticks. That leads me to believe it's not unique to the type of tick but whatever it is carrying.
Anyway, I thought if I could identify the pathogen causing this reaction and it was a certain strain of Lyme, I then would know which strain to treat with Char Boehm's DNA frequencies for that strain. If I could nail that down, it would increase my odds of totally eliminating it.
She is doing just fine now but I would like to get rid of it for good. If that is possible.
Will keep you posted if I learn anything helpful.

Another thing that doesn't make sense to me is if this lone star tick has been around forever, how come the anomaly with eating meat is just being discovered?
That doesn't make sense if it's unique to the biology of the tick itself.

You are right, Dan! It must be a certain strain or bacteria the ticks are picking up.

One thing I can do is start treating her again regularly and see if reducing the Lyme down to near zero helps. I just treated in the last couple of days. First time in three months. It disturbed her intestines which is not typical for her. If that resolves it that would be enough evidence for me that it is Lyme since I am treating nothing else.
