Parasites are a perpetual concern. Taking the artemesinin away from antioxidants might be a challenge though. Does anyone know how much taking antioxidants near artemesinin lowers its effectiveness?

Thanks,
GVS

As it's anti-protozoa, it is "required" to never, ever, take it alone.

Even if you might not have babesia or think it's been dealt with, it's never a good idea to take any agent alone that affects babesia / malaria.

Other parasitic infections that could be protozoa might also require combination treatment at all times.

Anti-protozoa agents need to be in combination so infections don't become resistant and more powerful / harder to treat.

Combinations should also be switched around frequently.

Artemisinin, like most (all?) antimalarials, kills cells via oxidation. I'm not sure why you'd want to take antioxidants with it.

It's normally pulsed, as your body will build up a resistance to it.

At higher doses it's ototoxic, so be careful.

I would just use more common herbs for the parasites.. probably more effective also.
