What causes such shortness of breath, especially when I first get up in the morning but have it most of the day. Been to pulmonary doctor, he said I was fine, did all kinds of breathing tests, etc. Saw cardiologist this week, he said I was fine then why can't I breath right? I have babesia and lyme. I have never been tested for mycoplasma or anything else. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like Babesia to me. Typical symptom for now that you will kiss away as things improve. Slowly!

The herbal formula your LLNP has just started you on should help a lot.

Being sure your water intake is good and steady, too. If you wonder how much water you need, call your LLNP's office manager and ask them to ask the your practitioner.

Be sure to banish from your bedroom all things fuzzy. Be sure it's vacuumed (by someone else, preferably). Also be sure to avoid all sprays in personal care, all scented products.

In your bed or bath room, banishing all things fuzzy include rugs or bath mats that can harbor all kinds of stuff. A cork bathmat was the best purchase I ever made.

Though you could use a woven towel for now, too. Try to avoid terry cloth towels other than for just drying off after bath. Terry cloth really sheds. Woven for kitchen use better, too.

Polar fleece is included - or at least be sure to launder it weekly to keep the stuff flying off it to a minimum. Still, it will shed tiny plastic bits that we can't see but our lungs can breathe in.

Natural fibers are best.

Avoid all powders, too. They really get into lungs. These are just a few of the changes that helped me.

Saddest part was getting rid of chenille sweaters. They were beautiful but just killed my lung capacity. They are bad for everyone. Luckily, it's summer so at least you are not likely snuggled up in chenille right now.

And FOODS THAT CAUSE PHLEGM, inflammation &/or hamper breathing:

gluten; dairy; corn; soy . . . processed foods, additives / dyes can also affect some folks.

What helps are some of the foods that really open up like radishes, a little bit of fresh garlic (say, with avocado / guacamole) . . . GREEN TEA is GOOD.

While you should not add anything at all to the carefully selected three-prong approach your LLNP has prescribed for the next three weeks, (unless you first talk to her), The Boswella & Turmeric, especially, should help with your breathing.

And in 3 weeks, you will be gradually adding in drops specific to babesia (though do not underestimate the items in your first 3-week segment for how they can help, too).

since this is not internal, it should work okay: look up good articles on HIMALAYAN SALT THERAPY or PIPE where you inhale over a small "bed" of sea salt. It has been very helpful for many. Thanks to Carol in PA for this detail.

Ditto to what Pam says, too:

" . . . Babesia . . . Typical symptom for now that you will kiss away as things improve. Slowly!"

With this new plan from your LLNP, you are on the right path.

thank you so much for all your help. So I am so glad that I switched to this new llnp because she definitely told me not to start the plaquinal for my RA, said it would causes me to herx too much. The old llmd wanted me to start the plaquinal and then add in mepron. I wonder why such different opinions. I honestly have to say how I feel. My old llmd is a medical doctor who treated my daughter 14 years ago when she was very sick. She is now a healthy 30 year old with very little issues from her lyme days. The llnp is part of a brand new place that opened up in my area two years ago. They push seeing a health coach, etc. want you to take a lot of supplements, etc., and then restart the ABABS on a very slow course.

I am so nervous to change courses but my gut tells me that the llnp is probably right in the way she is treating me. She said the RA symptoms will go away with the right diet, anti-inflammatory supplements.

Just very confused and nervous.

my old llmd has been treating lyme for over 20 years but never has suggested to me to take supplements, however, she did tell me that I should be on lamictal the very first visit for my anxiety.
