Are the symptoms like paresthesia and widespread. I recently had headache pain on top of head and top of forehead.

Hi Marie, the list of possible symptoms from Lyme disease and associated coinfections is almost too long to list. all forms of peripheral neuropathies are possible - this can be shooting, stabbing, itching, burning, throbbing, pins and needles or numbness. This may exist in one place for some weeks - even to the extent of the complete loss of use of a limb due to inflammation of the nerve roots as it comes out of the spine and associated with severe pain in that limb (called radiculitis ) my partner had this. or it may be much milder - just brief shooting, tingling or burning sensations or partial numbness.
typically with lyme these symptoms come and go - or appear to move around - in one part of the body one day or week and then a few days later somewhere else - or a different pain somewhere else.
many forms of headache are also common with Lyme and most of the co-infections. they are however non-specific and as a result not much help in finding a diagnosis.
do you have a confirmed test result or diagnosis ?
