Okay, after bath tonight I was playing with my son's hair, combing it and such. I seen a tiny speck, no lie, it isn't much bigger than a grain of salt. I did get it all and put in in between two peices of clear tape and when looking very closely, you see the head, legs and all. I have lyme, my 13 yr old daughter and it is presumed Noah already has it via congenital but I can't find a doc to treat him at his age and now to pull a tick so tiny off of him. He gets a bath every night so I wonder if I had missed it before since it was so small. Where can I get it tested? It's so tiny I wonder if they even can. Any help is appreciated. Sometimes I wonder how much more I can take of all this.

Sorry you are going through so much. It can be overwhelming at times, I understand how you feel.

I have his number in my purse. I consulted with him last year and he sent 2 test kits but I can't afford to have them done, so everything is put on hold. Wonder if he would treat based on this tick bite or if he will want some tests done. I may try to contact him and see if he will help out via long distance.

Darn, well guess the tick needs to be alive. This one is now dead as a dead can be. I took pictures of it attached then one next to the tip of a BIC Pen and one close up. Now I guess it's a wait and see what happens thing. Thanks for the responses.
