Yesterday I noticed an aching on the inside

of my left jaw. Then lastnight in my right

cheek. Today I have two white patches they

look a bit like a blister but have no fluid.

Also my tounge feels like it is on fire. I

am not on any new meds so I know it's not

from meds. However this is a new symptom and

am wondering if it's lyme or something else.

Does anyone else ever expericance this?

Two possibilities that I can think of. First is that it could be yeast. You may need to be more aggresive in your yeast control, and using an oral yeast control agent.

I haven't had to use any, so will let others give suggestions as to what.

Second, even though you haven't changed meds, reactions can build up, so it should be considered if yeast isn't the culprit.

Sounds like it would be good to contact your doctor.

it could be yeast. easily identifiably by a doctor and can be cleared up with a month of nystatin or diflucan and a non yeast diet.

otherwise those sound like classic cankersores. they have no definitive scientific explanation but are thought to be indicative of an immune system over-reaction.

i've had them my whole life. to ease the pain either put zinc tablets on them or fresh garlic (it burns it to numbness).

an over the counter anesthetic is anbesol. use it with a cotton swab (qtip) on site.

they should clear up withn 3-14 days.

Sounds like the yeastie beastie caught you!! The longer you stay on abx, the harder it is to control it (as I am finding out as of late).

Call your Dr for some Diflucan or Nystatin - also - next time you take your acidophillus, instead of swallowing the capsule, open it up and empty into your mouth (I know, yuck), swish it around with water for a minute, then swallow. Helps kill off thrush in your mouth.

I am starting to come to the belief that no matter how good you are on your diet, the yeast eventually takes over when you are on long-term abx.

I am experiencing the same thing but for the second time!! I've tried the above mentioned it really didn't help me ( it may help you)

I found that a teaspoon of Sporonox (swish and swallow) twice a day cleared it in a couple of days

I just started abx. again and my tongue feels raw and burns.. so I know for me it's yeast. YUCK

Good luck..Jamie

Sounds like Thrush. Yeast infection in the mouth. I tried a teaspoon of teatree oil in a cup of warm water. Ahhhh! Instant relief. Kills "yeasties" on contact.Tastes nasty. May have to repeat a few times a day. Will relieve the symptoms until you can get the diflucin, or other med. for yeast.(Don't swollow! Just swosh!)

When I was on antibiotics for a secondary infection this spring,

Same thing. Prob. Thrush from antibiotics. Yeast prob.
Have heard about Tea tree oil recently.

I took leaf of aloe plant, sucked juice right straight out for 3 day. It was really bad this time.

Cleared right up. No real bad taste. slimmy. Better than store processed stuff.

I use aloe for alot of things also for scars & sores etc. ANcient used for yrs.

Good for sunburn. Just open leaf & rub on.
Also good for complexion.. Put on face at night. Cheap too...
