Well folks,

We have hit $1,675 out of $6,000.

With two weeks to go, do you think you can make it?

Thanks to all who have already send in their donations.

At this point in time, maybe an update every day or two would help get the word out.

Maybe include payment instructions with your updates? Just a thought.....

As soon as I see how much my roof job costs that will determine how much I send.

Can you tell how worried I am about the Fund Raiser?
Hope all of you are sending in whatever you're able to contribute.

What would we do without LymeNet?

FYI, mailing my check today when I'm running errands.

Since I'm a newer member to this board, can you answer the following questions?

1. Does ALL of this money go towards the cost of this lyme message board?

2. How much does it cost to run this monthly? I've a novice in this area completely.

I think the answer would encourage more folks if they had a better idea on these 2 questions. Thanks from a newbie.

The reminder in my inbox was what I needed to get my check off.

Did someone say we have upwards of 4,000
here? I may have that wrong...but if it's true and everyone gave even $2 we would more than meet the goal!!

Some people feel stingy if they give that little, but that is just what we need...everyone giving a little!

I doubt there is anything like 4000 people currently posting. Many have come and gone. A while back someone did a roll call which only produced a little over 200 active posters. True, not everyone might have responded to this post and it was toward the end of summer, when there was only a skeleton crew. However, many fewer people means that every dollar is needed.

Sorry, I can't explain what expenses are typical of running a website like this. Maybe someone else knows.

It's posted over in the general forum, but for anyone here interested, the total is $3,400 as of the 18th. And 6,000 is the goal by Oct. 31st.

Let's keep chipping away at it.

We need this site! It doesn't have to be a lot. Those nickels and dimes add up.....well....OK....$1.00 and $5.00's.

You have heard of the latte factor. Well, we have the lymenet factor for the month of October.
