I doubt there is anything like 4000 people currently posting. Many have come and gone. A while back someone did a roll call which only produced a little over 200 active posters. True, not everyone might have responded to this post and it was toward the end of summer, when there was only a skeleton crew. However, many fewer people means that every dollar is needed.
Sorry, I can't explain what expenses are typical of running a website like this. Maybe someone else knows.

sent my donation yesterday 10-20-04.....just wish I could send lots more.....this site has meant soooo much to me in just the short time I've been here.......I hope and pray it will be around forever.......this support group is worth lots more to me than what I usually spend on "extra" things I usually don't really need....anything we can do adds up.......and will hopefully keep this site up and going........
