Betty:
Your protocol caught my eye.
I have recently read that serial abx (similar to what you're doing) was very efective of h. pylori (also a spirochete).

How are you feeling?
And is your LLMS in the state of Washington?
(Just wondering why your LLMD is rotating these 2 drugs - seems like a good idea to me).

Added BENECAR 20 mg/day 5 wks. ago.

Have herxing but it's been tolerable except for my entire right arm! Feels like a punching bag; hand is going numb, but I'm also on internet 2-4 hrs. daily doing lyme research on boards! Best wishes to you.

edited 10-21-04; 3 lyme support cochairs recommended this; 2 on full MP, & other on immunity today's milk colostrum.

hi Barb,

My LLMD is in Iowa. He decided this treatment with the advice of THREE co-chairs of our local lyme support group. One of them is on MP; other was on immunity today...so each had their own experiences to share w/me. Hix max is 20 lymies; I was next to last...glad I got him. He is a wonderful LISTENER and takes all the time we need....no hurrying!

Personally, I think it has worked very well for me having been misdx for 34 years. I'm NOT really sick/herxing so bad like many in the group.

I have the pain, but I've had it for 35 years. It's just the new pain in my right arm & now numbing my hand that bothers me 24/7! I ICE it constantly...helps to numb this pain.

This is one area plus I'm going to love being w/out pain somewhere in future plus the EXTREME sensitivity in my eyes & hearing noise....pains me so much.

Thanks for asking Barb. Later.
Betty G., Iowa

I had not heard of the other illness you mentioned...do NOT have that one.
