What labs still test for ticks????

Friend just got bitten and tick is alive yet also only overnight attachment BUT I can see a ring forming around the bite its still small bite area small dark area then tiny clearing then small red circle. I would like a lab that still test ticks for diseases and Iam trying to convice her to deffinatley get treatment. But this is not her first bite but is first bullseye though very tiny yet.
