Has anyone used pharmanex vitamins/supplements for kids?

Thanks.

I have been arguing it for years, most of vitamins/supplements that are sold over the counter, only 5 to 10% gets assimilated by the body. The Ducks said I was crazy. Just this past year in the AMA Journal, they confirmed it.

What you need is a natural vitamin/supplement that is freezed dried. You might have to go to a natural health food store for that.

Talk to the proprietor he/she can help you select a product for you and your children and make sure that it's natural/freezed dried. Might have to go on the mfg web site to find out or e-mail them.

It takes a lot of research to get something that works and not flushing 90% of it down the toilet.

If you want more info you can e-mail me

Good luck.

Alex

My sons use LifePak Teen, and I think they're great vitamins. (I distribute them, as does Dr. B, so of course I'm a believer :-)

The ingredients in the adult LifePak are loosely packed into 4 to 6 capsules, so they are much more efficiently aborbed in the gut than one of those Costco vitamins that compresses everything into one hard tablet.

There's lots of good technical data on the web page below, and you can get 28% off retail if you order it as a repeating monthly shipment, which you can put on hold at any time. http://www.pharmanexusa.com/cgi-bin/pxweb/product/en/ns_productDetail.jsp?content_id=01003484&spons_ID=US0668509

Thanks.

I checked out the website - my daughter is 9 and she won't swallow pills.

The Jungamals are chewable but they contain fructose and sucrose. Would this be a problem because of the sugar issue.

She does not eat much at all so it may be worth the sugar to get some nutrients into her.

Any advice is welcome.

It's unfortunate that there's sugar in the Jungamals, but I suppose that's the only way they can get little kids to take the vitamins.

There is another chewable immune-boosting product from Pharmanex called Nutrimmune Chews.

The company blurb: "Nutrimmune Chews support both immune and bone health with ingredients that are right for people of all ages. Containing Pharmanex's proprietary Colostrum MFT, a high-quality, standardized extract of bovine colostrums rich in immune-enhancing proteins, each daily dose of Nutrimmune Chews delivers 500 times the IgG concentration of raw milk and provides critical supplemental support to your body's own antibody production. Colostrum MFT is derived using a patented microfiltration process that results in an extract standardized to 50% IgG, making it many times more concentrated than other colostrum products on the market today."

It's on sale now for only $14.93.
