The treatment is 1 - 1.5 hours daily for 10 days, despite any herx, but surely it would be better to get over the herx and then restart treatment? Did you stop whilst herxing?

Also, how many treatmets did you have, and is it something that should be done periodically as a top up treatment?

Can you give us anymore info here? I could'nt get the email facility to work - errors kept coming up.

I have an email from the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit in Dundee confirming the efficacy for use in lyme (preferably done at 33'.) and they recommend a block of 10 consequetive treatments, 1 - 1.5 hours each. My local centre charges �8.00 each. Die off is to be expected by day 4.

I also found a study done by a William P. Fife, Ph.D on the net - google for info - detailing the efficacy of HBO in lyme.

I also queried the free radical production with HBO treatment, and Dundee confirmed that at the pressure and duration of therapy, this is not a problem.

My GP signed the consent form for me to get this done, so I hope to do this after xmas.
