Hey Everyone we have heard and no this can be sexually transmitted. What i am wanting to ask though is how many of us have this and did not sexually transmit it to your spouse.

Are you Male or Female?
If you have lyme also which coinfections do you have and did you transmit this to your spouse!
Thanks, Robin

Hi,

Me and my son have lyme. My husband has never been tested but i suspect he does but his immune system is holding his own for him.

If you ask me everyone has lyme, that's the conclusion I am coming too just some of us, get sick cause of infection load etc and others do not. Or their symptoms are not debilitating like us on the board.

We are not going to go there right now with my husband as it is tough enough dealing with me and my son and he doesn't think he has it anyway.

I have never been on the birth control pill at all since our 11 years together. So majority of time we have used protection except for when trying to get pregnant which happened on second try.

So we have not had a lot of unprotected sex, as we didn't want any surprise babies.
Maybe this makes a big difference for us, but I don't know.

I wouldn't chance unprotected sex now, knowing what I know. Just not worth it. If he is infected, I dont' need to be reinfected when ever I finally beat this nasty thing.
