I have some yeast problems and Lyme. Mycoplasma Pneumonia etc..

My Dr. uses IV Hydrogen Peroxide and IV C.

I've used the IV C and now he is recommending IV H202.

There are a few patients who are doing it after long term abx and look much better now and swear by it.

Has anyone been doing this and what are your experiences?

Thanks!

Chris

Five years ago before I knew I had Lyme but knew I was sick I went to an alternative dr. I did IV H2O2 for 3 or 4 txs. Then the doctor said some other things that I was certain were incorrect and, since I was concerned about the IV hydrogen peroxide, I stopped the IV and stopped seeing that dr.

I did IV h2o2 and it was the only thing that worked for me at all before i was diagnosed with Lyme and started the antibiotics. There are dangers in doing too much IV h2o2. It could be a great adjunct but it needs to be done very frequently and the results don't last like they do for antibiotics. You have to be really careful with oxidative treatments.

If you have the money and get the bacterial load down enough, it may be a good idea. It was too invasive and too expensive for me so I stopped.

So what is H2O2 doing on a celluar level? From what I remember in chemistry class....seems like it would destroy your healthy cells as well as anything else. It oxidizes right. So that seems like it would destroy everything equally which you don't want. Also if you've got oxygen being freed up in your blood (which I think happens but I could be wrong) wouldn't you end up with little bubbles of 02 floating around? And isn't that generally considered bad not good? (that's what happens with divers who rise from depth too quickly and that can kill them).
