I'm going to treat hubby and me with Artemisinin on my own. As it isn't for sale here there is also no experience with it. I ordered the Allergy Research brand and I'm ready to start.

Is there any abx that is incompatible with Artemisinin?

After reading here I think the following combinations are safe:

- Clindamycin + Chloroquin + Artemisinin
- Zithromax + Artemisinin

Could I take Zithromax + Rifampicin + Artemisinin or would this be too much?

Is it enough to take it combined with one abx or is it necessary to take another antimalaria medicament with the two of them?

Any other good combinations? (I will not get Mepron).

And does Artemisinin raise the blood pressure?

What else should I consider?

Lots of questions but I hope you can help me as no one can here.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Gabrielle

My son has taken zithromax/plaquenil/artemisinin for babs. Worked very well, and no side effects.

There is a beneficial interaction between Artemisinin and Beta Lactam antibiotics that was just recently discovered. The combination kills Lyme spirochetes and in higher doses the cysts.

The Beta Lactams are the Penicillins and Cephalosporins. So far it has been shown to work effectively with IM levels of Penicillin G, Oral Amoxicillin, and IM Rocephin. Others in the class are being tested.

This knowledge is only about 6 weeks old, but is showing alot of promise and big symptom improvements already.
