I just got a dreaded announcement from my employer that they are switching our coverage to Coventry. Never heard of this company before. Should I be worried? How do they treat lyme patients?
thanks.

Start documenting everything and, if possible, get in touch with the LDA's PA org.

I don't know anything about Coventry but I do know about HMOs and ins cos and most of it isn't good.

I'm an insurance broker and familiar with Coventry. They are tough to work with but not impossible. Lot of hoops to jump through with medication. If you do get a denial for a claim, appeal and write letters with the help of your doctors. If you are loud enough you can change their minds.
