Hi,
I'm Sero negative , probably late lyme, insisted on antibiotics doc said o.k for doxy for one month and then reevaluation. I undersatnd preveiously neg can turn pos after rx. I will then go to igenex or bowen but the question is When do I get retested? some lit says after 10-14 days off antibiotics, Dr. B from NY lit says 6 weeks? Opininoins???

Probably 6 weeks is fine.

Take about a month to produce IgM and about 2 months IgG assuming that you needed one month or close to one month to have your immune system restarted.

You may be able to get away with 2-3 wks off. We don't want you to miss your "window of opportunity" of killing off the keets.

Up for more opinions.

I think I've heard that antibiotics do not affect the Bowen test.

I recommend you check the websites and/or call the labs to find out what they recommend.

How much Doxy did you take per day?

My second suggestion is that you be evaluated by a Lyme Literate Med Dr(LLMD).

I don't know how many syptoms you have, but if you think you have late stage Lyme, you need to be seeing someone who will know how to treat adequately and consider the possibility of Co-Infections.
Many Lyme patients also have Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, and/or Bartonella.

Antibiotics didn't affect my results to a false negative. Luckily I tested positive after taking Biaxin for a month.

I've even been given steriods in the past when I didn't know about Lyme.
