Doxy didn't seem to make me herx.

Biaxin does, and the one Bicillin shot I had really caused a big herx.

Dang! I thought I knew all the abbreviations!! What's "rxn"????

Some people will herx on the fourth day of a new med. I've now officially jinxed you!

You may want to add rxn to this list!

Hi Kumba

Herx can happen at any time--
It depends on many factors--
For many it seams to happen
in about 1 month cycles tho --

Four days of 300 to 400mg doxi
is probibily not long enough
to cause a herx yet--
This is a low dose of doxi--

On this dose of doxi it is
Important to make it all count--

Take carefully--dont miss doses
Do not take with vitimins-minerals-
dairy-citrus-- all will decrease
effect of doxi---Jay---

kumba,

You said your muscle twitches are worse -- this could be a herx rxn (reaction).

A herx is different for everyone -- it could be the worsening of an existing symptom or you could have an entirely new symptom you have never had before.
