My husband spoke with a lyme patient recently who had started taking supplements from lymeresource.com. He said his doctor had attended a conference in the DC area where the supplements were discussed and enthusiastically received. The patient & his wife have both been taking them for a little while now & have been having strong herxes. Once 6 weeks of treatment is over, syptoms are supposed to be gone or greatly improved.

Does anyone else have any knowledge or experience with these supplements? Anyone know about the conference? We are seeing our LLMD on Monday & I wanted to get some info prior. I checked out the website, but would have liked to have more info than it provided.

As always, your input is most appreciated!!

Suzy

This is probably the conference you are talking about. The DVDs from the conference just went on sale and this site will tell you how to order one.

Anyone know what's in these supplements? Pretty pricey, I'd say, at $265 per order for a 6 week course of treatment.

Small price to pay IF it works. Anyone else have any feedback on this? I am not sure this was discussed at the conference I posted above or not. I will have the chance to see the DVDs soon, so will surely look for it.

But sure would like to know what it is. Is it supposed to kill the bugs or pump up the immune system so it will fight them? The website says very little. Which makes me a little suspicious.

Is this just another Lyme treatment scam, or for real?

stephen buhner has recently written an excellent book about healing lyme...he has a core program of supplements (andrographis, cat's claw, resverarol) and explains what each does, etc....says they frequently need to be combined with antibx, etc - i've been on the core protocol only a couple of weeks(along with antibx)...book is published by raven press....says you may need to stay on this program a year (minimun of 6 months)....herbs are relatively inexpensive...a book well worthwhile buying,
deb

Deb,

what antibiotics are you taking while on this protocol?

I also bought this book and want to try it. Have you had any contact with any others who have been on this long enough to be able to tell if it is working?

Did you notice any kind of herx from the supplements?

Would love to keep in touch with you to see how you do with this. I have to take a course of sulfa drugs for a non-Lyme issue for the next month, but plan to move to this protocol once I am finished. Don't want to do too much at one time.

Hope this goes well for you!

Connie

I have tried the lyme resource remedy.

I used it for about a month and noticed nothing.

Sorry-maybe it worked for someone else?
