Hi All,

Well I *finally* managed to get the 13 or whatever page Bowen document from my doctor's office after 2 weeks of their foot dragging . . .

Here's my question. There is the option to purchase a lab kit from them for the specimen collection, even though they clearly delineate the blood draw protocol in the paperwork.

Do I have to order the kit form Bowen and wait for them to send it to the lab or can I just go into the lab with the instructions and have them do it? I'd prefer this option since it saves time and I am so anxious to get this test done.

Any of you Bowen vets, I'd love to hear from you and see what you think.

Many thanks,

Alison

I didn't get a kit from Bowen. I just had my blood drawn as per their instructions-- I forget what color tubes they ask for...

Hope this helps.

Hi SAK,

Awesome. That's exactly what I had hoped to hear. Thank you so much. I'm SO glad I don't have to wait.

Alison

P.S. It's lavender topped tubes . . . [Smile]

I did NOT order Bowen's kit for another $6.50 cost.

Clinic just used what they had & followed instructions precisely with OVERIGHT mailing!
