My new holistic practictioner is giving me a bunch of goodies that are alcohol tincture. Of course i am also supposed to be pulsing flagyl 3 times a week. He says that if i let the tinctures sit in water for a few minutes before taking the alcohol should evaporate....and hopefully would not be a problem. Anyone, know about this. I am a little scared. Thanks, Robin in Houston

I searched for a coffee mug hot plate with an adjustable temp range. I place my "alcohol" tinctures in the mug with water, and then place it on the hot plate on low. You'll have to do some trial to see how long to leave it, but I use my nose. when it doesn't smell like alcohol, you're good to go.

PS As far as I know, Samento is not an alcohol based tincture. FWIW. Never have smelled any.
