When I added the tindamax to zithromax in early December, I increased the probiotics, but my mouth is really irritated now. I assume it is from yeast. I was ok on zithromax & bicillin. I do break open the acidophilus capsules, which I think has helped a little, but it is painful (inside of cheeks kind of raw) just to eat anything that is not smooth now.

I do see my LLMD on Wednesday, but would like to do something before then. Have been afraid to try the hydrogen peroxide as it is not just a tongue coating-just a hint of that-but more the inside of the mouth and I don't want to do more damage.

Thanks for any advice.

Ann...

I got a sore tongue while taking this drug. No problems with yeast...but I looked up the side-effects and found this at drugs.com.

swollen,sore or discolored tongue

Would be interested to hear what your LLMD has to say! Let us know...okay? [spinning smile]
