I have been trying to incorporate more natural products into my pile of pills. I tried Oreganol capsules and had a strange tightness in my throat and chest.

I do have allergies to mold and grasses. Anybody else have this problem? I am nervous about trying it again.
Thanks,
Cindy

Well, tightness is no good... so you may wanna be careful. Still, are you allergic to Oregano? 'Cuz that's what this is, really...

It could, possibly, have been a herx. I just bought that stuff two days ago, took it yesterday, and had the most profound herx from it including severe chills, fever, gas, pain, anxiety, anger the whole shebang. And after the herx passed, I feel better.

So the stuff is powerful and can induce herxes - I think it mostly goes after yeast but may get some lyme too... not sure.

Just thought I'd report that. Best of luck.

Borrelia is right. Oregano can produce a big herx, including yeast herxes.

Use your good judgment on trying or not trying it again.

I had an allergic response to it as well. My asthma flared up. Also, in the process of getting the stuff into my mouth, a drop of it landed on my inner wrist (hey, those neurological shakes will do it to ya!). I got a raised wheal where the oil hit the skin. That ain't no stinkin' herx.
