I see spiral shaped shiny, flashy, swimming
worm like objects when I look at sky or bright
colored things. Since started atb last year,
some turn into clear circles and fall. Seems
something in the middle of the circles. Now,
on new treatment and am seeing the spirals
flatten and fall.

Read where this disturbance was co-infection.
Has anyone else with this noticed this? I used
to avoid seeing this. Now, I study what I see.

Hi SpookyDew -

I have this too...really weird...have had visual disturbance with migraine for awhile...started treatment though and it would change with treatment...

Mepron and zith. gave me visual disturbance like grey snow on a t.v. screen...scary...couldn't even make out objects...just like one big screen of channel 53 at the North Pole...

Flagyl gave me a similiar visual disturbance with a herx but not quite as severe...

Those were herxes in my first and second month of tX....

Then lately now that I am in the year and a half segment of treatment I have had the least migraines I have had since age 21...

but I do still have visual disturbances like floating circles...while on zithro/doxy...then while on zithro/levaquin squiggleys and dots and sparkles when I look up at a bright, blue sky...

Went to the eye doctor last week (he wrote a paper on Lyme and Eyes) - he understands a bit more then most eye doctors in regards to eyes and lyme...he inferred that the stuff I was seeing was still a neurological issue...but I didn't pin him down on this... [confused]

Will try to and then get back to you...

Take care and it is nice to know I am not the only one that has experienced this [Wink]

Lymied,
It is a relief to know that I'm not the only one.
I thought this could still be neuro issues. I
still have a lot of neuro symptoms. How long will
it take for neruo to clear up with treatment?

I would appreciate any info you get on this.
Thanks for the reassurance.
Take care

Spookydew, I have floaters all over the place. It's like looking at 3D. Some of them look like worms. I have the circles too.

The circles didn't start until I started atb. As
soon as I see the clear circles they start falling.
All the while, still seeing the spiral shaped shiny
flashy, wormlike things swimming. Now, I'm doing
something different and some of the spirals just
flatten and fall. Why am I seeing something different with different treatments?

We got an infra-red sauna at Sam's Club--it was cheaper than Home Depot or Wal-Mart. It is suppose to help the Lyme.

Right now I am trying to kill candidance (yeast) too.

My little boy asked me the other day if I could see the shiny swarm of insects (in the house) I knew exactly what he was talking about!

Hubby and I both have a lot of floaters also...
