When testing thru IgeneX, do you do Panel 5000 or 5010? I was told it costs $390, this includes 188, 189, and PCR. 188 and 189 is IgG and IgM western blot. If you only want to do 188 and 189, then it would be $190. Any comments, recommendations?

I've always just done the IgG/IgM Western Blot, 188 and 189, when just checking for Lyme.

Jenny, I posted the specific tests I had IGX do on my lengthy post...

4-20-06 new LLMD summary & lab results

if you do a SEARCH, at the top under POST REPLY, type in the 1st part incuding summary and quit on it.

look in MEDICAL

any date....make sure your MY PROFILE is set for ANY date vs. 30-60 days. Helps when searching!

SUBJECT ONLY and member no. is 6147

ALL the complete body tests are 3/4 down the entire screen! All the labs results are posted as I received them back.

FYI, for tests done there, it was $905.00 which medicare paid it all except I believe about $50. Hubby's sleeping so I won't put on the light to awaken him.

Thanks Scott, Tabby, and Betty!

I'm leaning toward just the 188 and 189 ... yep the poor lymie... it seems that most post just those results on this board. Has the PCR test made a difference for anyone???

Thanks again and hope you all feel better!

Remember also to write on IGENEX' special request form to FAX RESULTS to your LLMD, and snail mail paper copy too.

Mine were lost for 4.5 weeks! [cussing]

would it make a difference in which tests to order for early lyme or (very---possibly 16 years) late lyme?
