Has anyone gone to the Optimum Health Institute in California or Sanoviv Medical Institute in Mexico? A search showed nothing for Optimum and one 2004 reference for Sanoviv. Thanks so much. Betsy

Betsy,
A non-Lyme friend of mine (cancer patient) went to Optimum Health and felt it increased her energy a lot and got her on a good eating program. She was going there to detox from chemotherapy.
She said the first week was tough but it got better. She did meet a Lyme patient there and is trying to get contact information for me to talk to that person.

Thanks Jill. If you make that connection, I would love to hear what they have to say.

Betsy,
I'll remind her again to please find out the contact info if she can. I suppose I could try calling Optimum and just leave my name in case any Lyme patients would be willing to contact me.
The other thing is that Optimum uses wheatgrass as the basis for their diet and colonics. I'm completely gluten-free and wheatgrass is controversial as to whether it has gluten or not. But she did tell me that there is a gluten-free alternative that is used at Optimum, but wheatgrass is really what they prefer.
I read an article about Sanoviv and Lyme once in one of those free magazines you can get a the health food store. I had never heard of it, even though I'm in Southern California and have heard of most of the Mexican clinics. But I don't know anyone who has been there.
Take care, Jill

Jill, I am gluten free as well....and soy, eggs and dairy! My research on wheat grass found that if the grass is harvested at the right time, the gluten has not developed. But when my husband brought some home, I didn't risk trying it. Are you just now due to lyme gluten intolerant? I am.....never had food allergies/intolerances before. Thx for your info...appreciate it. Betsy
