Hello Jenn,
I heard of this Samento or also known as Cat's Claw about 8 months ago.

I had not tried it then as I was a little nervous about the possibly of being allergic (something that happens alot with me) and also my Lyme symptoms seem to be in remission for the past 9 yrs.

However I have always known that my Lyme is and will not be curable and the little buggers are just "asleep for now".

I follow more the yeast free diet and way of life as that seems to be more the problem and has been since I stopped the meds for Lyme.

Always keeping it in the back of my mind when and if they found something of natural state - other then meds for Lyme I'd try it.

I have done HBO treatmetns in the past and even tho I was not on meds for Lyme while doing the treatments I still herxed from Lyme as the treatemts do wake them up.

I just recently began HBO treatments again due to a relaspe with the Yeast and it was then that I started to try the "samento/cat's claw", it was extremely helpful with the herx, which leads me to believe it is helping the Lyme as well that has been asleep for so long.

I have a brand here from the health food store - but after doing research and getting the effect from the herxing on the sleeping Lyme within me I decided to order and try what others on this forum are taking.

The brand that I do have here (store brand ) I was only taking one or 2 a day, that was enough help.

I'm not sure what the proper dose is yet - but I guess I will learn in time as I go along and according to what my body tells me.

I'm more inclined to follow natural things as much as possible because the yeast makes me have allergic reactions it seems to alot of things that are prescribed.

Normal over the counter allergy meds or colds meds I react to as well.
Hope this helps.
God Bless

I love Samento. It has given me a lot of energy. I got mine from NutraMedix, and I was doing 3 drops, 2x daily when I was one week on, one off on my abx (on my off-week).

15 drops, once or twice a day of the nutramedix suspension. I don't notice any magic improvements, but then again I'm on so much stuff...
