I have elevated levels of lead, cadmium and possibly/probably mercury as demonstrated by a urine challenge test. I've been to 2 docs and both are recommending a series of intravenous EDTA treatments.

Does anyone have any experience with IV EDTA for heavy metal chelation?

No, but I'm going to try a suppository that you can get I hear for as little as $3.

I understand that you still need to make sure that your minerals are O.K. and not overtaxing detox system.

It should be monitered by doc and tests.

If you chelate out too much zinc, immune system will depress.

This kind of OTC product is now being endorsed by Dr. R, environmental doc/author.

I would rather do a suppository than a needle any day of the week.

And I know that unlike some ducks I've dealt with, I have acceptable "b*tt side manner".

P.S. Proceed with caution on any chelation.

I know several people including me that have done it the wrong way while under doc supervision, and moved mercury into brain, and declined cognitively as result. Mercury in tissues is not nearly as dangerous as in brain.
