I just wanted to see recnet info. on how people were doing on Tindamax.
After reading people's posts, I started on 250 mg.s twice a day (pulsing 3 days a week)rather than the 500mg.s twice a day my LLMD had prescribed. I was too afraid of the HERX and want to ease into it - if that is possible.
I have been on IV Rocephin for 3.5 months now, diflucan the same amount of time and Ceftin for 6 months previously.

tini has helped me tremendously in terms of clearing up my brain, regaining energy, etc. I was on it last summer along w/bicillin injections, and improved so much, I almost felt normal. Then my LLNP changed my meds completely to Levaquin only, and my condition plummeted like a rock. Now I'm back on it, and getting better again.
HOpefully I won't have any neuro side effects. That's one of the reasons they took me off. I guess there can be permanent neurologic side effects w/prolonged use.
This time, I want to stay on it as long as possible and hopefully blast out all the cysts.

I pulsed tini in with my other abx's & feel it did some good. It did make me herx more and made me worse on many levels for a while but it didn't have any long term damage.
It did take a while to clear the herx's so maybe a good idea for you to ramp up with this one as is possible you may have a high cyst count.
good luck & hang in there Blessings, Dana

Hello, I just wondered how you are doing on Tini? I just took it for the first time today.
I dont think my body can handle it. My legs got so weak I couldnt stand. My head felt funny, I
couldnt see or hear right. Its about 6 hours later and Im still not right.
I wondering if anyone else had such a bad reacition to it?

I waited to start tindi until my germ load was somewhat reduced (I'd been on ceftin and rifampin for about a year by then).
I ramped up slowly and now pulse this for a week out of the month. I continue to herx when I initially take it but it does seem to be helping some of my symptoms.
And I can't help but think that, overall, it's been a good thing.
