Did your doc test you for dhea and cortisol before he put you on them? A 24 hour testing would be good since these have times of the day where they are normal higher or lower.
My dhea was fairly normal, but my cortisol was skimming the bottom and dropping below normal by afternoon. Would never have known that with a quick one time stress test.
