Saw my new LLMD on Tuesday. This is one of the tests he ordered. I did a search here but came up empty. Does anyone know what this is for, and why testing for anything related to Vitamin D would be specically important for us, as opposed to any of the other vitamins?

He made a point of asking me if vitamin D was included in any of my supplement formulas, and I showed him the label--I get 500 IU's a day of D3. Of course, being housebound for the past 4 months hasn't exposed me to much sunlight.

Thanks.

Peggy

I do not know what 250H is. In most lymies, 25D is low and 1,25D is high. Vitamin D has been extensively discussed on this board, so a search will probably answer lots of your questions.
