hi i am wondering if any one else has stabbing pain at any of there old tick bite areas.
CDC positive for Lyme and Babesia in May of 2006 - My LLMD believe i may have had babesia from the east coast and got bit in the Ventura county area in 2005.
Back in the 80s and 90s I lived in South jersey and Massach.- so tick bits were common.
Now,, usually at night - I am having stabbing pain in my back hip area - It feels like a stabbing sensation and then it is painful to walk.
I s it possible that there are some Borrelia family members that have resurrected from the dead at this old tick site.
It feels like the spirocytes are chomping on my nerve that runs down from my hip to my knee.
any ideas ??
thanks

I wonder if your sciatic nerve is affected?:
don't tell the spirocyte is after my sciatic nerve - i have donated enough of the brain cells to that clan.
i remember pulling the tick out years ago.
whenever i am having the lyme pain - that is when i happens

Hi mag,
I know I've read here before of others having intense pain flare ups at the site of their initial bite/rash.
Don't know what topic to search for, though.
I remember the first year or so, way before treatment started, I had incredible pain in my upper arm--what felt like bone pain, right in the vicinity of where the bullseye rash had been.
I had pain in all my joints, etc. But when it would flare badly, always that right upper arm intense pain. It would keep from sleeping for days at a time.
Don't know what any theory would be behind this symptom. But I have seen others here mention it.
Sorry you're dealing with this. Mine eventually went away.
