I was just wondering who here is taking Valtrex? Did the LLMD presribe in to treat lyme or co-infections? Also, I am wondering what your symptoms were that made the doc think that Valtrex might help.
Thanks!

I took it for a short time but after I gave blood I got a HUGE bruise on my arm from the needle stick so my LLMD took me off since excessive bleeding can be a side effect.
My LLMD prescribed it because I had virus symptoms that came on strong after I started treatment for lyme. Viruses can re-activate. Terry

My LLMD just prescribed this for me, in case I have a virus that is preventing me from getting better. It's not for Lyme or co-infections, or because of any symptoms I have, we are just trying it because I am a mystery.
