Not sure if this has already been posted here but check it out if you get a chance. It appears that this was published recently as it even has a reference to the recent Forbes article.

There are a number of references to internet postings on newsgroups and I would bet that some of that info was taken from people's posts on this board.

Sorry if this article riles you up but I felt that I should post it here for you to read.

"you cant believe all you read on the internet"

Add QW to that list, too.

Those idiots can't even spell the causative agent of Lyme Disease (Borrelia Burgdorferi) correctly, they spell it "(Borrelia burgdorphi)".

They appear to me to have obvious agendas and questionable authority of knowledge on subjects which they claim authoritative knowledge over.

Like anybody some stuff they say has some merit, but a lot is junk.

I just sent an email calling them inaccurate and inappropriate. Go to the home page (contact us) and send an email.

Let's flood them with emails.

These people have gone after all the complimentary health providers and modalities they can attack. Quack watch, has NEVER won any of the court cases. They got in major trouble, via Aetna and cavitat which is an FDA approved testing method, and Aetna was using quackwatch's claims about Cavitat to deny claims.

The author of this article should be hung by his short ones and then casturated [Big Grin] . I find it amazing how people like that who make dealing with disease their life's purpose can just brush this epidemic under a rug like it is dust. His tune would definitely change if he contracted this damn disease! [Mad]

Hey, this is a GOOD thing.

Anybody who already knows that the Quackwatch website has ZERO credibility won't be shocked by this. But perhaps many others may finally realize that virtually nothing on that site is the truth.

It's sad, really, because if that site published an article stating that the Earth was round, I would probably have to do my own research. [Big Grin]

It's here but hidden somewhat by google.

Starts off...

The "quackbuster" operation is a conspiracy. It is a propaganda enterprise, one part crackpot, two parts evil. It's sole purpose is to discredit, and suppress, in an "anything goes" attack mode, what is wrongfully named "Alternative Medicine." It has declared war on reality. The conspirators are acting in the interests of, and are being paid, directly and indirectly, by the "conventional" medical-industrial complex.
