Yep... No life insurance for me. I'm uninsurable because of Lyme.

So let me get this clear.. When it comes to the medical community / health insurance company... I'm not sick because Lyme is cleared up with 10 days of abx. There is no such thing as chronic lyme.

But when it comes to the life insurance companies, then Lyme is something serious and I can't be insured because its a real problem.

What is wrong with this picture?

So maybe you get your health insurance company to say you are cured, and present this to the life insurance company. If this doesn't work, take it to the state insurance commissioner.

Many people are for many conditions- Lyme is listed on the insurance website along with MANY other diseases as being an acceptable disease not to be insured for- it sucks!!!

But perfectly legal-!!!!!!!!

was at the doc's today & he was talking about his patients who are now unable to get medical insurance if they have Lyme & that Lyme is actually one of the 5 or 6 boxes to check off, along with other obvious ones such as heart disease. Funny isn't it: Lyme doesn't exist yet insurance companies are scared of it.
