I asked my LLMD if a Rife machine might help me and he said it would not be good for me because of I get anxiety. Has anyone noticed a problem with using a Rife and anxiety? I have yet to use a Rife so I was wondering about this and my LLMD did not seem to have much time for me to ask him more questions on the subject.

I've never heard of rifing causing anxiety before. I can tell you that I am about as anxiety ridden as can be, but I do rife. I just
started so Ive only done it a couple times. So far I've gotten no anxiety from it. I usually herx the night I do it and the next day. But
the herx involves heavy or weak muscles. Maybe a little heart racing but nothing compared to before I was on treatment. My llmd was happy
that I was rifing. But just like with any treatment, everyone has different reactions. But good luck in whatever you decide. Hope you find something to make you feel better!

When I see my doctor again I will ask him more about his reasoning on the subject. I will not be seeing him again for 2 - 3 months.
Thank you for your reply and let us know how your rife works for you.

I have rarely had anxiety while rifing but I do not have Lyme. It only lasts as long as you are rifing in most cases.
I use a GB-4000 with an RF carrier wave. This is thought to possibly cause electrosensitivity in very rare cases with way more than normal exposure. This is not normally an issue but being Lyme seems to make some more sensitive to stray electrical fields it is possible to react more than normal.
If you are concerned about it use a Rife device with no carrier wave such as an EMEM.
Good Luck

That's weird. Maybe he's afraid you'll get well and have to "fire him."
Never has made me nervous....at all.

I've been using one for a year and it's never caused me anxiety. I've had anxiety off and on for years and I can't say that it makes it any worse. Herxing in general can cause one to have anxiety so if you overdid it you might have more anxiety. Lyme and co-infections can also cause anxiety. Heck just being sick can cause anxiety. Maybe he doesn't want to take a chance of your anxiety getting worse. I use an EMEM.
There are several rife forums, perhaps you can ask people there if anxiety is an issue specifically for lyme patients.
