The taste buds on the very back of my tongue (the large bumps) seem to be swollen. They're not painful at all, but I can feel them. It feels like fur in my mouth.
Could this be the first sign of oral thrush? The back of my tongue seems to be sort of white, but it may have always been like that and I just never noticed.
Or could this just be from lyme or a heavy die-off?
My throat isn't very sore, but I have been dealing with allergies and having some post-nasal drip. I also have GERD. So I guess maybe it could also be related to that?
Has anyone experienced this? It really is a weird feeling. I notice it less when I eat and more when I lay down to go to sleep.
