Just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on cats claw... Did it help you, is it good enough, ect???
One question I have, is 8 drops a day as powerful as say taking ABX from LLMD's? I remember I use to take that amount before dong oral ABX and seemed to get worse at first, then a little better. When I started ABX, wow did I get worse and still kinda am...

Byron,
Depends on the dosage and brand of cat's claw and the individual reaction to it.
A product like Prima Una De Gato is the TOA-free brand of cat's claw and we've found it very powerful so go slowly for all those just starting it.
I know some people who are much better solely on supplements alone.

I really like it. Ive been on it a month now. I take 2 a day and its Mediherb Cats Claw Complex. I had three weeks of feeling almost completely normal when I started it.
Now Ive had a really bad week, but I had a lot of stressful events, plus I think it was that time of the lyme cycle that I always have a bad week. Now Im starting to feel better again.
I dont think it would hurt anyone to give it a try.

Whole herb Cat's Claw is quite good. I have been using it for about 20 months now. With whole herb Cat's Claw, you get the benefits from all the constituents in the herb. Including the TOA's.
If you have read Stephen Buhner's book "Healing Lyme", naturally, you will be able to find out all the benefits of not only Cat's Claw, but many other healing herbs.
Cat's Claw alone does very little in healing Lyme, but combined with other important herbs and supplements, it does heal. AND you will feel much better WHILE you heal.
I tried some abx early on, but it just set me back in my healing. Plus made my stomach feel worse all the time. Now I am about three times better than back then. I was about 30 to 40%, now I am about 80 to 95%. Depending on the day.
Don't forget the cleansing herbs when you are on any protocol so you don't overtax your Lymph system and have bad herxes.
