Has anyone else had their neurotransmitters tested though Sanesco?

It's done through a urine test, then you are given a report and a list of supplements to take. I had low serotonin, GABA and dopamine and high glutamate levels.

The supplements I was given contain taurine, B6, 5-HTP, threonine, serine and some proprietary formulations (including theanine)

Does anyone have experience with this company, testing or type of supplements?

Andrew, Sanesco has a very interesting site, sounds like a good idea to test for these neurotransmitters. I am going to talk to my Dr. about using Sanesco.

2 questions:
1) Have the supplements they suggested helped
you?
2) How much did the tests cost?

Thanks for sharing!
Ernie

Hey Andrew,
Yup, I did the same one.....didn't take the recommended supplements though. Have you noticed a difference?

I think the test was $269.

http://www.sanesco.net/assessments.php

Interesting. This could have some alternative possibilities to the standard SSRI's etc, for mental health symptoms and treatments.

Hasn't anyone else had experience with this test/company?

I think the cost of my tests were $165. I just started the supplements four days ago, and I don't know if they're helping yet.
