For those of you who are on malarone.. I just wanted to share some information.

I'm on 3 malarone pills twice per day. I noticed that I'm more sun sensitive on the malarone. Just be careful. I got one heck of a sun burn in about 30 mins.

That's interesting.

I take four malarone a day and have had some flushing issues,

but no increase in sun sensitivity.

I am out in the sun almost all day, every day.

Doxy does the sun sensitivity issue to me.....big time.

Hugs,

Geneal

I am on malarone only one a day, and have not had any sun sensativity at all. I did with doxy, really bad. Maybe at high doses it reacts differently? What else are you on?

Biaxin 1000 mg, Malarone 250/100 6 per day
Armor thyroid 45 mg twice per day

Thats it... reading the patient information packet on the malarone... sun sensitivity is possible. Its happening to me on this high of a dose.. along with other issues. It's kicking my butt (and my wallet).
