Welcome to Lymenet, Mushroooman. I'm sorry to hear about your pain and especially your foot.

First of all, are you seeing a LLMD (Lyme Literate MD)? If not, you will want to post in the Seeking A Doctor Forum to find one.

Tell us about your treatment and I'm sure we will have someone here who can comment on it.

Good luck!

Welcome to the board! I have foot pain, which sounds different than yours. I just get extreme aches inside my feet.

But, what helps me, is wearing elastic ankle supports. There is something about the constriction that reduces my pain.

I highly recommend that people work with a good pain management specialist to treat their pain. Many LLMDs are not pain literate. You have a right to adequate pain treatment, and unfortunately I've known too many people with Lyme who don't get it from their doctors.

I'm not sure where in MD you live, but I recently started working with a pain specialist at Nat'l Rehabilitation Hospital who works out of their DC and Bethesda facilities. If you want his contact info, you can PM me. Just click on the picture of two people and an envelope above my message.

Welcome to the board. Read, post and learn!
