I find it hard to focus, to read an entire book, to stay on task. I believe its part of the Lyme Brain Fog. Have others had the same symptoms?

attention, focus, memory ~ it's definetly a part of brain fog & neuro lyme.
Haven't read a book in a long time. I do better at short paragraphs. I buy books that have short stories. Or read one bit at a time & then underline it, hightlight it for later note.
now what was I talking about, oh ok attention

Yes work is difficult...I look at work I did a year or two ago, and it is so detailed and professional by comparison, plus I don't recognize it...
tasks, I often sit and stare at them. working alone in a cubie on complicated tasks is difficult.
conversations, a little better, but not much

Yes for my husband--he took Adderall (a common med for ADHD) for years, prior to seeing a LLMD. A few months after starting abx treatment, he was able to discontinue the Adderall.

Absolutely. But I also rarely sleep more than 3 or 4 hours in a row, so I think that has something to do with it also.

Yes, yes. I just started taking Ritalin for it - a little risky, don't want to drive my body past what it can take, but I would love to get my "executive function" back - can't do anything long-term due to distractability. And I used to run a research lab!
Got Lyme (undiagnosed) in 1990, had to end my science career in 1997 due to fatigue and inability to concentrate, diagnosed with Lyme in 2007 and now doing long-term oral abx with an LLMD. But also added the Ritalin to try to get brain back ASAP.
It's already quite a bit improved, on some days. Maybe half the days I make progress, others I'm still foggy.
