This triple combo Biaxin+Plaquenil+Omnicef works well for me. I've experienced steady progress for 5 months, with lyme symptoms getting continuously fewer and weaker. I got this regime from a lyme forum, so i'm returning it to a lyme forum. I had to ask my LLMD for it. It was not offered. A few years ago on some lyme forum,a woman with a 12-yr-old son whose husband had divorced her because of lyme, said she was cured by Omnicef 600mg /da, Biaxin 1000mg /da, and Plaquenil 100 mg /day. I take Biaxin 500 mg, 2x /day, Omnicef 300 mg, 2x/day, Plaquenil 200 mg, 2x/day. It's gives excellent results, for me.

Hi, I am new here. My husband has lyme. Bitten by tick in early June 2007. Diagnosed later in June 2007. Doc thinks husband had been previously bitten a few years ago(I agree). Originally put on Doxy. Then doxy and plaguenil. ( this is when he seemed to improve the most, but was not long lasting.) then azithromycin and plaquenil. Presnently on Omnicef and Doxy. He herxes on a very accurate 4 week schedule. He is improving again, but not at the level he was this summer.
