Did I just stumble on the answer?

Those of you who have Bart - Do you have visual issues?

I've been in treatment for Lyme for a year and Babs for 4 months.

Through all of this, I have seen little improvement in my brain function and visual issues.

Doc is thinking Bart even though no bart rash. Starting Levaqin this week to address this issue.

I am starting to put the pieces together here... vision appears to be related to Bart.

Please chime in with your experiences.

Yep, I have bart and vision difficulties. Vision is constantly changing, sometimes goes blurry for no reason. That could be a blood sugar issue. I suppose. I also feel pressure in my eyes and see the veins throbbing sometimes. Been treating for lyme and babs with some minor improvement but nothing significant after 1 1/2 years of treatment. I've read that bart can cause eye issues.

I probably need to have it checked but haven't yet. I'm looking forward to bart treatment as I do have the streaks and I feel that it is causing me lots of symptoms.

I only tend to get vision problems when I have a good old pressure headache going on. I get the pain behind my eyes too.

My vision goes blurry or looks as though I am trying to look through a piece of cotton.

I kinda chalked it up to bart as well in my case.

After images, blurred vision, static vision, sensitivity to light, focusing problems, eye pain.

Any of these ring a bell?

I definitely think you are on the right path. I was having eye issues with my lyme.... anything from double vision, blurred vision and in three occasions, total blackness.

I've been on treatment for lyme, bart and babs but it was the bart treatment that definitely was shaking these symptoms up. There are times I think my vision is definitely improving and the attacks are less frequent.

So atleast for me, I definitely feel it was bart related.
