Cancer genes are normally in your cells.
This is pretty exciting, although they didn't say that the skin derived stem cells can be used to replacement therapy due to the possibility of causing cancer.
However cancer cells and stem cells are going hand in hand. Once they know how to control the cancer genes, this technique has huge potential use: e.g. you can replace damaged, or aged, or cancered organs by stem cells from the patient's skin cells. or even rejuvenating the whole body.

Finally! This is truly an answer to my prayers. Forever, I have been against using embryos for stem cell research. I have my own reasons, and I'm not here to debat that now. i respect each of your opinions as well...
point is, now I can still feel that way and not feel guilty for slowing progress of research on medical breakthroughs...
This is awesome news! Thank you for sharing! You made my day!

It's not the solution. You don't start injecting cancer genes into cells when we're being bombarded by artificial electromagnetic and microwave fields. They have no idea how these genes will mutate in response to these fields.
