Try to google or call Earth Spirits in STurbridge, Massachusetts; they are having whole seminar on Teasel root and lyme disease this month.

I take Teasel Root Extract drops, 50% alcohol. It is excellent. I don't think it causes a herx, but always makes me feel better.
I take a 1/4 tsp about 3 or 4 times a day; i have a small bacterial load, so this high dose is ok. People just starting treatment, with a high bacterial load and a lot of herxing to go through, might want to take just 5 drops to start with.
You should read LadyBarbara's website about her cure from lyme. She also sells Teasel, just ask her; she's in Oregon or Washington/. She's a very experienced herbalist and knows everyone in the field.
I buy Teasel from Jean's Greens in NY state.
I also buy it from woodlandessence.com (i think that's the name). I've also bought it from Avena Botanicals.

I used about 3 small bottles of Teasel extract during my first year of abx treatment, purchased from the same places mentioned by pamoisondelune above.
All I can say definitively is -- I think it possibly helped, mildly, as a supplement for my lyme abx treatment. And I am pretty sure it did not hurt me!
