Which of these herbs actually works? Or which is the most effective at boosting energy?
-Mangosteen
-Rhodiola Rosea
-Goji berry juice (Go-chi juice)

Note:
I am currently taking gingko biloba, gotu kola, huperzine, B-50, Magnesium, Spectrabiotics(mix of probiotics), Vitamin C, natural men's supplement, garlic, blue-green algae, polygonum extract.

My energy is 10% at best, seriously. I sleep 12-14 hours some nights, because I cannot get up. It doesn't help. An hour later, I feel exhausted. I need something that will truly work for me. Clearly, none of these supplements I'm currently taking are doing anything, and the lyme/bab/bart are killing me.

less than a month supply = $20
month supply rhodiola rosea capsules = $15
less than a month supply go-chi juice = $35
*not including tax + shipping for any of these

I badly need something for energy - getting on Lymenet is almost all I have energy left to do during the day.

I will buy one of these 3 herbs that were recommended to me, only if they honestly offer a significant improvement in energy levels. I don't have enough money to keep wasting it on herbs that don't help me.

This may not be the answer that you want, but have you had your thyroid and adrenals tested?

I have hypothyroidism (post Lyme) and even had to have a nodule removed.

My adrenals were exhausted when first tested many years ago. Today I still am trying to get them healed.

The adrenal stress test that you want is a saliva test that you do over the course of a day. Thyroid test is blood.

I take cortef (a prescription) to help my adrenals along with Cytozyme AD and extra Pantothenic Acid (B5). And, of course I take prescription for thyroid (Levoxyl and T3).

This is just one suggestion. There are many reasons why you could be so fatigued - outside of the Lyme. Fungus can cause fatigue, co-infections, just a lack of exercise can cause more fatigue (I know it is a catch-22).

Hang in there.

Rhodiola Rosea is one that that does help me.
First I read The Rhodiola Revolution to find out about it.
I tried several brands of the herb, and some I was not too impressed with.
Whenever I placed an order at iHerb, I'd order a different brand, to see if there was a difference.

I finally settled on this one, from (of all places!) Amazon.com.

Balanceuticals Rhodiola Defence, 60 capsules

The Rhodiola Revolution: Transform Your Health with the Herbal Breakthrough of the 21st Century (Hardcover)
http://www.amazon.com/Rhodiola-Revolution-Transform-Breakthrough-Century/dp/1579549241/

This has an excellent editorial review, which is not included with the paperback description.
The hardcover is available used.

Paperback edition:

I first looked into this when several people said that it was recommended by their LLMD's.

Buying cheap does not work with mangosteen.
