the guy who owns ProHealth, Rich Carson, says he drinks about a dozen cups a day. He claims this is part of the protocol that put his CFS in remission.

as for me, it has a sedative effect -- very unpleasant and lasts about 30 hours.

Could the sedative effect actually be a herx?

I'm not suggesting you drink it, but maybe as your bacterial load lowers it would be help. Maybe it's just too much right now.

Does it help if you're not taking abx? I'm not on abx anymore, just antimalarials for babesia. I wonder if it will help keeping things in remission or help the herbs work better.

hey six, i hadn't though about green tea leading to a herx, but now that you mention it...

on the other hand, my hubby, who does not have active Lyme, used to drink it at work and fall asleep on his desk.

If you can tolerate it, it's supposed to be extremely healthful.

We've been drinking a cup or two daily, but I think we'll boost it up. Very interesting and wonderful news.

Hi there [Smile]

I did see that, I think the news said it could make anti-biotics three times better?

Anyhow, I have a cup every day, drinking one now.
I put 10 drops of Cat's Claw, two teaspoons of Honey and about 3/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon.

No big results yet but have only been doing it for maybe three weeks steady.

Steve
