Hi everyone,

I have been doing better lately, but recently my feet started to hurt again. When I press on the muscles on the bottom of my feet they are sore and ache.

I know that this is a bart symptom, but for me it feels more like a lyme problem.

Has anybody else had muscle pain in their feet?

Could this be a vitamin deficiency?

Thanks

I had this, but tested negative for bart (for whatever that's worth), but positive for lyme and babs.

Mine came and went. However, it left for a long time PRIOR to any supplementation with vitamins (and I was vitamin D deficient).

In theory, that should rule out Vit. D. deficiency as your cause, but everyone is different.

Good luck fixing it.

I found out I had low b-12 and when I looked up the symptoms, I found that sore feet and sore bones can be caused by low b-12. From what I've read here, I think alot of lymies have low b-12. When I first started taking b-12 supplements it helped alot, but now the sore feet/bones are back. You might want to try it and see if it helps.

I have this pain and it continues even with getting IV nutrients, so I don't think its a deficiency.

What really helps is wearing elastic ankle supports. You slip them over your feet. I'm not sure if they help because they are constricting blood flow or are stretching out the muscles. But they are amazing. You can buy them at any drug store.

I too have been suffering from this problems and as Aniek says, I too have been getting IV nutrients (Myers Cocktail) which included vit B, so in my case, I'm not sure it's a vitamin deficiency, but with that said, we are all different.

I too tested negative for bart but my LLMD clinically diagnosed me with it anyway and started me on Cipro but when many of these symptoms started coming back, he has now swapped me over to Levequin.

I do know that sore bottom of the feet is a symptom of bart BUT I'm sure there are many other things that can cause it as well.

But I DEFINITELY know the feeling you are discussing and it will get so bad at times (sometimes only one foot at a time) but when it kicks into both, it honestly is painful to walk.

I have some thick cushion type slippers to help me in those times because it almost feels like I've bruised all the bones in the bottom of my feet. NOT FUN!
