OK that is interesting, does this mean that if you have Babs you feel worse for a few days every 14 days? Or do you feel bad for 2 weeks then OK for 2 weeks? (Sorry for stupid question..... But I notice I feel better for 14 days then worse for 14 days)

My babs had a 1 week cycle. My lyme doc told me that babs can have both a 1 week and 2 week cycle.
This is how it was for me ONCE I STARTED BABS TREATMENT: On Friday evening I would get sick for 48 hours until Sunday evening. Then, I would be my regular self again until the next Friday evening. When it hit me, I would just lay on the couch, not talk, not eat, not go to the bathroom, and feel mentally like I would be in this horrible condition for the rest of my life. There was no way any other type of thought could intrude--logic, etc.
When the sickness would lift, hubby would know it because I would get up, go to bathroom, look for something to eat, start talking, etc.
It was so crazy I hardly dared tell the doc. Once I did, he added artimesinin starting on Thursday through Sunday. Immediately, that cut the sick time down to 6 to 12 hours the first weekend, then 4 hours the next, etc. until it was just a 1/2 hour very sleepy time. Then, it went to every 2 weeks, then nothing. It was over. Good thing it hit on weekends. This way, I could still go to work pretty much full time.
I didn't notice a cycle with bart.
So, you may be able to shorten your 14 day sick time by adding some reinforcements like pulsed artimesinin if you are not already doing so. Start it the day before the sick time starts, and stop it when the sick time stops.
Hope this helps you.

No my Babs cycles every 2 weeks and lasts for 48 hours, it is like clockwork Bi-weekly on a Tuesday - I know what it is now and I go through it but knows it lifts - very specific symptoms and very different frm Lyme cycles.

What if you feel crappy for a few days, have a better day, and more crappy days? What if you feel crappy most of the time? Is that babs, Lyme, or both?

That's how I felt when I had lyme, babs, and bart. First my doc treated the lyme, then the babs, then the bart. As I got rid of each disease, I had more and more good days. That's when I started noticing the very specific babs cycle.

Hi everyone,
With treatment for Lyme, my herxes were very regular. But with Mepron for babs and continuing Lyme and bart treatment, I'm like CherylSue:
